Do you like to write? Do you have an idea for a story but don’t know how to get started? Or do you simply want to hone your writing skills in a dynamic and interactive virtual environment?
Designed for writers at all levels, our online Creative Writing course starts on October 18, 2010.
The class aims to familiarise students with the very basics of writing fiction, poetry and creative non-fiction in English. Through direct feedback, forum discussion, exercises and examples students will strengthen their writing skills and come away with a deeper understanding of how literature, in a very broad sense, works.
This online course will be run in our virtual classroom, where the course programme is designed with a dynamic and creative learning methodology. The course is organized into 5 modules of online theory and practice using collaborative learning tools and individual and group participation. Students can access the platform at any time of day, where they will find readings, exercises and an ongoing discussion forum. The teacher will monitor the progress of students entirely through the online platform.
This course will be led by Margaret Luppino, an English teacher and writing consultant.
